چکیده
The use of continuously imbedded Runge-Kutta-Sarafyan methods for the solution of ordinary differential equations with either time-dependent or state-dependent delays is discc. It is shown how to get reliable solutions for such problems in a manner that does not require that the effect of the local approximation error be considered separately from the IocaI integration error. It is aIso shown how to reliably handle derivative discontinuities that arise in the solution of differentiaI equations with delays. This report discusses a mathematical software package DKLAG5 which consists of a suite of FORTRAN subroutines for the numerical solution of systems of functional di erential equations with state dependent delays. The package implements continuously imbedded Runge{ Kutta methods which are based on C polynomial interpolants. These interpolants are exploited by the software to handle the necessary...
متن کاملInverse Sturm-Liouville problems with transmission and spectral parameter boundary conditions
This paper deals with the boundary value problem involving the differential equation ell y:=-y''+qy=lambda y, subject to the eigenparameter dependent boundary conditions along with the following discontinuity conditions y(d+0)=a y(d-0), y'(d+0)=ay'(d-0)+b y(d-0). In this problem q(x), d, a , b are real, qin L^2(0,pi), din(0,pi) and lambda is a parameter independent of x. By defining a new...
متن کاملInclined Lorentzian force effect on tangent hyperbolic radiative slip flow imbedded carbon nanotubes: lie group analysis
The present paper focuses on numerical study for an inclined magneto-hydrodynamic effect on free convection flow of a tangent hyperbolic nanofluid embedded with Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) over a stretching surface taking velocity and thermal slip into account. Two types of nanoparticles are considered for the study; they are single and multi-walled nanotubes. The presentation of single-parameter g...
